Solution : Firstly, we will draw the diagram as per the given instructions –
In the above figure, O is the starting point and D is the finishing point. So, OD is the total distance covered by Rahul. OD = OA + AD And, AD = BC = 20 m Therefore, OD = 30 + 20 = 50 m
