Question : Directions: Select the set in which the numbers are related in the same way as the numbers of the following sets. (NOTE: Operations should be performed on the whole numbers, without breaking down the numbers into their constituent digits. E.g. 13 – operations on 13 such as adding /subtracting /multiplying etc. to 13 can be performed. Breaking down 13 into 1 and 3 and then performing mathematical operations on 1 and 3 is not allowed.)
(112, 210, 308)
(84, 182, 280)

Option 1: (313, 411, 512)

Option 2: (112, 212, 300)

Option 3: (424, 536, 638)

Correct Answer: (236, 334, 432)

Solution : Given:
(112, 210, 308); (84, 182, 280)

Add 98 in the first and second numbers, to get the second and third numbers respectively –
⇒ (112, 210, 308)→112 + 98 = 210; 210 + 98 = 308
⇒ (84, 182, 280)→84 + 98 = 182; 182 + 98 = 280

Let's check each option –
First option: (313, 411, 512)→313 + 98 = 411; 411 + 98 = 509 ≠ 512
Second option: (112, 212, 300)→112 + 98 = 210 ≠ 212; 212 + 98 = 310 ≠ 300
Third option: (424, 536, 638)→424 + 98 = 522 ≠ 536; 536 + 98 = 634 ≠ 638
Fourth option: (236, 334, 432)→236 + 98 = 334; 334 + 98 = 432

So, only the fourth option follows the same pattern as the given set of numbers. Hence, the fourth option is correct.
