(222, 444, 888) (132, 534, 987) (303, 480, ?)

In the above-given set, add the numbers of the given sets and the difference between the sum of these sets equals 99.
(222, 444, 888)→222 + 444 + 888 = 1554
(132, 534, 987)→132 + 534 + 987 = 1653
The difference between the sum of the first and second set→1653 – 1554 = 99

Similarly, the difference between the second and the third set will be 99.
(303, 480, ?)→(303 + 480 + a) – 1653 = 99 (Let the missing number be a.)
⇒ 783 + a = 99 + 1653
⇒ a = 1752 – 783
⇒ a = 969

So, 969 is the missing number. Hence, the first option is correct.
