Correct Answer: 1,18,500
Solution :
As per the given graph,
If 85% of the type D mobiles are sold, then 15% remains unsold.
The total production of mobile phones of type D in 2007 = 10% of 35 lakh = 3,50,000
The total production of mobile phones of type D in 2008 = 10% of 44 lakh = 4,40,000
The required answer = 15% of the total production of mobile phones of type D in 2007 - 2008
The required answer = 15% of (350000 + 440000) = 0.15 × 7,90,000 = 1,18,500
Hence, the correct answer is 1,18,500.
