Correct Answer: 40%
Solution :
As per the given graph,
The total number of females = 3000 + 3500 + 4000 + 1500 + 3750 = 15750
The average of the total number of females = $\frac{15750}{5}$ = 3150
The number of males in the organisation in D = 2250
The required percentage = $\frac{3150-2250}{2250}$ × 100 = $\frac{900}{2250}$ × 100
⇒ The required percentage = 40%
Hence, the correct answer is 40%.
