Solution : As per the given graph, The total number of females = 3000 + 3500 + 4000 + 1500 + 3750 = 15750 The average of the total number of females = $\frac{15750}{5}$ = 3150 The number of males in the organisation in D = 2250 The required percentage = $\frac{3150-2250}{2250}$ × 100 = $\frac{900}{2250}$ × 100 ⇒ The required percentage = 40% Hence, the correct answer is 40%.
