Correct Answer: 170
Solution : Given: The weights of 4 boxes are 30, 20, 60 and 70 kilograms.
The total weight of all possible combinations of boxes is as follows – 30 + 20 = 50; 30 + 60 = 90; 30 + 70 = 100; 20 + 60 = 80; 20 + 70 = 90; 60 + 70 = 130; 30 + 20 + 60 = 110; 30 + 60 + 70 = 160; 30 + 20 + 70 = 120; 20 + 60 + 70 = 150; 20 + 60 + 70 + 30 = 180
Therefore, there is no total weight of 170 kilograms in any combination. Hence, the second option is correct.
