Question : Directions: There are six taxi companies (A, B, C, D, E, F) in a certain city. The bar graph shows the number of taxis run by each of these six companies. Study the diagram and answer the following question.

If each taxi, on average, runs 100 km every day and if the fuel cost is Rs. 3 per km, then all these taxis spend how much (in Rs.) on fuel every day?

Correct Answer: 108000


Solution : Total number of taxis = 25 +120 + 35 + 75 + 95 + 10 = 360
If each taxi runs 100 km daily, and cost of fuel is Rs. 3.
Then, total cost on fuel = 360 × 100 × 3 = Rs. 108000
Hence, the correct answer is 108000.
