Solution : Given: 20 - 5 ÷ 2 + 4 +12 = ?
After interchanging + and × and – and ÷, the equation becomes – = 20 ÷ 5 – 2 × 4 + 12 = 4 – 2 × 4 + 12 = 4 – 2 × 4 + 12 = 4 – 8 + 12 = 16 – 8 = 8
So, the equation is equal to 8. Hence, the second option is correct.
