Correct Answer:

Solution : According to the figure series –
From Box 1 to Box 2 – The unshaded triangle at the top left corner remains fixed. The unshaded triangle from the left centre shifts three places in the clockwise direction to the top right corner. Similarly, the unshaded triangle from the bottom left corner shifts three places in the clockwise direction to the top centre.
From Box 2 to Box 3 – The shaded triangle at the top right corner remains fixed. The unshaded triangle from the top centre shifts three places in the clockwise direction to the bottom right corner. Similarly, the unshaded triangle from the top left corner shifts three places in the clockwise direction to the right centre.
From Box 3 to Box 4 – The unshaded triangle at the bottom right corner remains fixed. The unshaded triangle from the top right corner shifts three places in the clockwise direction to the bottom centre. Similarly, the unshaded triangle from the right centre shifts three places in the clockwise direction to the bottom left corner.
From Box 4 to Box 5 – The unshaded triangle at the bottom left corner will remain fixed. The shaded triangle from the bottom centre will shift three places in the clockwise direction to the top left corner. Similarly, the unshaded triangle from the bottom right corner shifts three places in the clockwise direction to the left centre.
So, following the above pattern, the missing figure will be –

Hence, the third option is correct.
