First option: ÷ and × = 72 × 4 ÷ 64 + 8 – 24 = 72 × 0.0625 + 8 – 24 = 4.5 + 8 – 24 = –11.5 ≠ 80 Second option: – and + = 72 ÷ 4 × 64 – 8 + 24 = 18 × 64 – 8 + 24 = 1152 – 8 + 24 = 1168 ≠ 80 Third option: ÷ and + = 72 + 4 × 64 ÷ 8 – 24 = 72 + 4 × 8 – 24 = 72 + 32 – 24 = 80 = R.H.S.
