Correct Answer: 2 and 3

Solution : Given:
(36 ÷ 2) × 5 – 15 × 4 = 20 – 260 ÷ (5 × 3 + 2)

Replace the given numbers in the options one by one with the original numbers in the given equation.
First option: 4 and 2
⇒ (36 ÷ 4) × 5 – 15 × 2 = 20 – 260 ÷ (5 × 3 + 4)
45 – 30 = 20 – 13.68
15 ≠ 6.31
Second option: 3 and 5
⇒ (36 ÷ 2) × 3 – 15 × 4 = 20 – 260 ÷ (3 × 5 + 2)
54 – 60 = 20 – 15.29
6 ≠ 4.70
Third option: 20 and 36
⇒ (20 ÷ 2) × 5 – 15 × 4 = 36 – 260 ÷ (5 × 3 + 2)
50 – 60 = 36 – 15.29
–10 ≠ 20.70
Fourth option: 2 and 3
⇒ (36 ÷ 3) × 5 – 15 × 4 = 20 – 260 ÷ (5 × 2 + 3)
60 – 60 = 20 – 20
0 = 0

So, only the fourth option satisfies the L.H.S. = R.H.S. of the given equation. Hence, the fourth option is correct.
