Correct Answer: 45 and 13, × and +

Solution : Given:
13 − 65 ÷ 45 × 21 + 2 = 82

Replace the given numbers and symbols in the options one by one with the original numbers and symbols in the given equation.
First option: 65 and 13, × and +
= 65 − 13 ÷ 45 + 21 × 2
= 65 − 0.29 + 21 × 2
= 65 − 0.29 + 42
= 107 − 0.29
= 106.71 ≠ 82
Second option: 45 and 13, × and +
= 45 − 65 ÷ 13 + 21 × 2
= 45 − 5 + 21 × 2
= 45 − 5 + 42
= 45 + 37
= 82
Third option: 45 and 21, × and +
= 13 − 65 ÷ 21 + 45 × 2
= 13 − 3.09 + 45 × 2
= 13 − 3.09 + 90
= 99.91 ≠ 82
Fourth option: 45 and 13, − and +
= 45 + 65 ÷ 13 × 21 – 2
= 45 + 5 × 21 – 2
= 45 + 105 – 2
= 148 ≠ 82

Here, only the second option satisfies the R.H.S. of the given equation. Hence, the second option is correct.
