Correct Answer: × and ÷

Solution : Given:
(35 – 2) × 3 = (56 × 8 ÷ 3 + 100) × 11

Replace the given symbols in the options one by one with the original symbols in the given equation.
First option: ÷ and +
⇒ (35 – 2) × 3 = (56 × 8 + 3 ÷ 100) × 11
⇒ 99 = (448 + 0.033) × 11
⇒ 99 ≠ 4928.33
Second option: × and ÷
⇒ (35 – 2) ÷ 3 = (56 ÷ 8 × 3 + 100) ÷ 11
⇒ 11 = (21 +100) ÷ 11
⇒ 11 = 11
Third option: + and –
⇒ (35 + 2) × 3 = (56 × 8 ÷ 3 – 100) × 11
⇒ 117 = (149.34 – 100) × 11
⇒ 117 ≠ 4.48
Fourth option: × and –
⇒ (35 × 2) – 3 = (56 – 8 ÷ 3 + 100) –11
⇒ 67 = 153.33 –11
⇒ 67 ≠ 142.33

So, only the second option satisfies the R.H.S. of the given equation. Hence, the second option is correct.
