discuss the role of caste in indian political seytem
Dear candidate
Indian politics is highly dependent on caste as different political parties represent the intrests of different caste groups or categories even the voting patterns depends on caste that is the voters that belongs to particular caste serves their political beliefs to thair respective caste political party so the caste plays a dominant role in the Indian political system there are 30.8 percent population of forward castes, 41 percent OBC, 19.7 percent SC population, 8.5 percent ST population and several castes demand for a lower range or rank so that they can get the privileges of reservation in many sectors like educational resrvation, job reservation and many other and no one can change this caste policies and equality in all the group is necessary but it can't be any more controversial which it doesn't change as it keeps getting stronger.
Hope this Information is helpful
hello,
caste issues are one of the main issues that are raised by the poitical parties at the time of elections, they unite people of different caste on the basis of caste they belong to.
The caste system provides a hierarchy of social roles that hold inherent characteristics and, more importantly, remain stable throughout life
If an Individual is born into the Kshatriya , the caste have been warriors and kings.
Individuals born into the Vaishya , they have been merchants then
if an individual is born in SC or ST caste , they are considered as inferiors and if born in the brahmins, they are considered as superiors.
also ,The caste that one belongs to serves as a strong determinant of his or her voting pattern.,different political parties represent the interests of different caste groups.
Hope that helps
