Hello rahul,
There are mainly four types of computer network as:-
• Local area network (LAN)- It is group of connected network each other.for example- office, buildings,etc.
•Personal area network- It is a network for individual person with the short range.
•Metropolitian Area network (MAN):-It is a network that covers a larger geographic area by interconnecting a different LAN to form a larger network. It is use for connects to the citizens and industries.
•Wide area network (WAN):- It is a large network range such as states or country.It is quite bigger than LAN. Internet is one of the biggest network of WAN. It is mostly used in field of education and business.
