Correct Answer: 30 and 7
Solution : Let the first part be $x$, then the second part becomes $(37-x)$. According to the question, $5x + 11(37-x) = 227$ or, $407 − 6x = 227$ or, $x = 30$ So, first part will be $x = 30$ and second part will be $37-x = 37 - 30 = 7$ Hence, the two parts are 30 and 7.
