B. Tech in Agricultural Information Technology is a combination of Agricultural Studies and IT.
The duration of the course is 4 years including 8 semesters.
Eligibility criteria
- Interested candidates who qualified the 10+2 exam in the science stream from a recognized educational Board of India and had both Mathematics and Biology as main subjects.
- Minimum aggregate scores required vary across institutes, but usually are close to 45-50%.
Admission exam
Aspiring eligible candidates are also needed to appear for State level entrance examinations to secure admission to the course. For IITs, it is mandatory to qualify the Joint Entrance Examinations JEE Main.

see a person can gain a decent salary from any of the profession or studying any course if he/ she has real interest for it. however you did not mention the course name, I assume you are asking about b.tech in agriculture and information technology, which is quite a newer stream. in most of the colleges btech in agriculture engineering is offered. now a days the working culture is mostly depends on information technology and all of the streams of engineering students must have some knowledge about IT technology in order to make a excellent career prospect. however you must select a good college where placement record is decent.
