S. P. Jain Institute of Management and Research is a private AND  non-profit PG MANAGEMENT AND BUSINESS  school In India.

the college is one of the most reputed b school of India making it really hard for the the aspirants to secure a seat The minimum overall cut off for CAT or GMAT entrance score is 85 percentile which hardens the problem .

coming to you question again , NOT all the applicants get selected around students apply every year and college only provides seat for the 260 lucky ones . hence not every one makes it through .
