Mismatching of names in your 10th marksheet is not a serious case . Its pretty normal mistake. Your marksheet is asked by the college to verify that you have passed the equivalent 10+2 exam as per their criteria and nothing else.
Yes, colleges do accept affidavits regarding but you have to ask your college if they accept or not.
