Do amity university (Kolkata) have good placement record for biotechnology student?

The btech biotech has placement but in non core fields and if it's there in the core fields it's basically in the field of sales or marketing with a profile name as business development executive.
The average salary per month is around 18k to 20k. The university is not to be blamed for lack of good opportunity it's the biotech market within the country which has low demand or requires higher qualification.
This field is more dedicated to research so higher studies is a better option. The excellent faculty if used can lead to a bright future but that requires a through interest in the subject otherwise its preferble to study some other course
