Do cbse give step markings for maths

Good afternoon,

CBSE Mathematics paper consists of questions with 1marks , 2 marks ,4 marks ,and 6 marks and you will be provided 3 hours to attempt for 100 marks .So if you have answered your paper well and in case you have doubt that some answer might be wrong but the steps are correct ,then don't stress you will be get step markings .As step markings are also important in getting more marks ,for every step ,a candidate writes in the exam for a question of 4 or 6 marks ,you will get 1 Mark or vice versa. For each step will we get 1 mark ??I have heard that for rach step we get marks

Yes ,if the question is of 6 marks ,then you will get 1 Mark for each right step ,the marking scheme will be 1+1+1+1+2 or 1+1+1+1+1+1 and marks will be given according to the weightage of the question as well as units written properly .
