Hi,
Your question is not complete. Had you mentioned any specific college, a more detailed answer could have been provided.
Nevertheless, going forward in a generic way keeping your question in mind, the answer is YES.
EEE students from top tier colleges do not really find it very difficult to bag a job in the core sector.
However, in lower tier colleges, due to lack of proper infrastructure, most of the core companies do not visit or recruit students unless very skillful.
All that said, EEE students still find placements and most of them end up in the IT service based companies.
