Exams of this semester can be conducted online or not this totally depends on the university.
For most govt Universities the UGC/AICTE will come up with an academic plan soon and about the semester examination they have made a committee and soon will roll out their decisions

see it depends on the particular university and their process for conducting classes, many of the government and private colleges has conducts online classes, students are joining this classes and submission of assignments , task submission is going on, in this moment you need to regularly make connection with college faculties and follow college websites for upcoming notifications.
