Do I have to give any entrance exam for getting admission in forensic science after completing bsc microbiology if so what is the required study material for entrance exam? thank you.

Generally speaking the eligibility criteria for MSc Forensic Science is passed bachelor's degree in science from a recognized university securing 50% aggregate or above depending upon the norms of the university, admission process may be based on the merit of the qualifying examination, or done through entrance tests such as IPU CET/BHU PET to name a few, now the exam pattern and syllabus differs among universities for example in case of BHU PET, there will be one paper of 120 minutes comprising Section A and Section B, carrying 360 marks, Section A have 60 MCQs from General Sciences at 10+2 level to test the knowledge of the candidates in fundamentals and 20 MCQs of general nature to test their analytical ability, reasoning and logical skills, and Section B have four sub-sections namely, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics with 40 MCQs of graduate level in each section, the candidate has to select only one of the four sub-section of Section B for answering questions.
