For Calcutta University admission:

While many undergraduate schools use merit-based admission, some may require CUET.

Fees: Depending on the course, fees usually range from 2,000 to 50,000 each year.

Check with the university for specific program requirements and fee deta ils.

Could you please specify the college or university you are referring to in order for us to give you precise information regarding CUET (Common University Entrance Test) admission? It would also be useful to know if your inquiry relates to a particular program or course. This will enable me to provide you with the pertinent admissions information and cost schedule.

Hello Bhumi!

Many of the universities in India require students to qualify for admission to different undergraduate programs through the Common University Entrance Test, or CUET. It is what tests candidates based on their performance in the subjects related to the field that they choose. A merit list, which forms the basis of an admissions process, is worked out for respective universities by aggregating scores from CUET.

Regarding the fee structure, it totally depends upon which university one is choosing and which course is under consideration. The fees charged normally at government universities are pretty low and may go up to 5,000 to 50,000 annually. Privately owned universities are not the same. Instead, they usually charge high fees, usually between 50,000 to 2,00,000 or even more per year. Another amount depending upon the form of payment is added to the tuition fees like registration fees, examination fees, etc.

Some scholarships, even financial aid, may be provided to eligible students; these would also lower the costs. They need to look up the exact website of the university or contact their admissions office to get the latest information about the requirements for CUET and fee structures of the desired program at that institution since the policies and rates may differ from one institution to another.

Thank you!!
