Private jobs : There are lots of opportunities in private industries which are working in Agriculture sector e.g.Tractor companies, Irrigation companies, fertiliser and seed companies, Dairy firms etc., as a sales executive as well as research department. Initially, they offer a salary of Rs.15000-30000 for sales executive and Rs.25000-50000 for R&D. Government jobs : As mentioned above , every state has a agriculture department and they have mandate of Processing, Mechanisation in farm, for which they recruit Agriculture Engineers in district or Tahsil level. For which every state has its own examinations.

UPSC : Although UPSC don't conduct any separate examination to recruit Agricultural Engineers, but a student of B.Tech. is eligible for civil services exam including Indian Forest Services. There is an optional subject of Agril Engineering in IFS exam, which is beneficial for B.Tech. Agril Engg. students.
