They will not keep your original certificates .

Sometime they may ask you to bring your original certificates along with the photocopy but only for verification .

Mostly they ask about photocopy.

And all the counseling details ( along with documents list ) will be available on its main site.

You will need to produce all original documents whenever asked in KCET document verification. So, you will need these certificates in order to be eligible for the counseling.
