do i need to buy universal self scorer also if i have dc pandey for physics for AIIMS.

s for the pattern of NEET and AIIMS as of 2016 and 2015,Universal Self Scorer isn’t recommended.The prime reasons being -
- The book contains too much repetition of the same type of questions from various exams,that may be from 1980s to 2000s,so wasting time and energy doing the same type of questions 50 times won’t help you increase your knowledge.
- Also, these days NEET/AIIMS have shifted to application and problem solving based questions(similar to like JEE-Main),which need sound fundamental understanding.Direct formula types are on a decline,as everyone can do them. This book has more of direct formula ones, and very less conceptual ones. So,not the right choice for practicing for the latest pattern of NEET and AIIMS
- Also, the theory given doesn’t attempt to explain anything in depth.For Assertion-Reason types in AIIMS, you need crystal clear concepts and in depth knowledge.It’s better to study NCERT for theory first,then move on to DC Pandey or HC Verma for better understanding of various topics.
