Do I need to give cet to get admission in naval architecture

This depends upon the institute you want to take admission into for the course. There are many colleges who take an entrance exam for admission into the btech/be course in naval architecture and ship building. I am mentioning some important colleges and their respective modes of admission:

1 Tolani Maritime Institute Pune :Qualifying in IMUCET is mandatory for admission

Chennai: Merit-based on a percentage of marks secured in the qualifying examination together with 10+2 marks. No CET

Maharashtra Institute of Naval Education and Training
Pune: the college accepts admission either on the basis of mht cet performance, or jee mains ,or has its admission exams.

Mohamed Sathak Engineering College
Tamil Nadu: TNEA or JEE mains accepted as the qualifying exams.

Marine Engineering and Research Institute
Kolkata: The institute accepts IMU CET and has own admissions too.
