Hi
This depends upon the institute you want to take admission into for the course. There are many colleges who take an entrance exam for admission into the btech/be course in naval architecture and ship building. I am mentioning some important colleges and their respective modes of admission:
I am attaching the links to the colleges where you can check the fees structure and eligibility of the course
1 Tolani Maritime Institute Pune :Qualifying in IMUCET is mandatory for admission
2 Vels Academy Chennai: Merit-based on a percentage of marks secured in the qualifying examination together with 10+2 marks. No CET
3 Maharashtra Institute of Naval Education and Training Pune: the college accepts admission either on the basis of mht cet performance, or jee mains ,or has its admission exams.
4 Mohamed Sathak Engineering College Tamil Nadu: TNEA or JEE mains accepted as the qualifying exams.
5 Marine Engineering and Research Institute Kolkata: The institute accepts IMU CET and has own admissions too.
