Hello there,

Yes, There is a slight advantage if you had cleared JEE mains with a good score. SASTRA ranks are published based on this calculation

(JEE mains score * 0.25) +(12th percentage*0.75)[For stream 1].

Going by the calculations, if you have a very good 12th boards percentage and a decent JEE mains score , i'm pretty sure that you're getting a seat in SASTRA college.

Hello Jaya Lakshmi,In the link given below , you can check the JEE scores Vs Percentile table, where you can find your mark range.https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentileHowever , this time SASTRA rank calculation is based on percentile(0.25*JEE percentile)+(0.75*Class 12 Marks) So based on this calculation , your SASTRA rank will be published and you'll be called for a counselling.Hope that helps!
