do i need to renew my ews certificate every year for my college as that certificate is valid only for one year and my course is for 3 year and what would happen if I won't do that or was unable to get it renewed?

Yes, you need to renew your EWS certificate every year as it would be required in your college. It is valid for only a year so if it is not renew you might face problem if you are asked for it suddenly. I would suggest you to renew or else the concession you are getting your fees that you would not get if you are unable to provide your EWS certificate.
