Do i need to select the College while i appear for GPAT ? or The counselling is based on GPAT Scores and the college gets allotted as per scores obtained?

Hi,

You will be allotted the colleges through GPAT on the basis of your merit, to colleges you apply to during counselling; counselling will take place after the exam.

The merit list shall contain category-wise no. of candidates who qualify the exam along with the overall cutoff for that category. Counselling and admission to different courses in the GPAT participating institutes is based on the score obtained in the exam. The GPAT result is expected to be out in the first week of February 2020, it will be followed by counselling. During counselling the candidates will be required to apply separately in the GPAT participating institutes with their GPAT scores.
