No you don't have to travel to karntaka if you want to appear for Comedk. COMEDK has it's exam centres in almost all the states. There are a total of 154 exam cities for Comedk which includes the states of Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Harayana , Gujarat, Goa, Delhi, Chandigarh, Bihar, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim and Tamil Nadu. In all these states Comedk has exam centres. So you can choose the exam centre which is nearest to you. If you are form others state and you have filled the form there is the allotmemt of centre by the authorities which you have to follow if you want it give the exam  ,

So if on the hall ticket is given that the centre is in Karnataka then you have to go there and give exam ,
