Basically JEE advance rank will only valid to take admission in IITs not for NITs. The NITs admission will be done on tha basis of JEE Mains Rank.

JoSAA Counselling 2020 - The Joint Seat Allocation Authority will start the JoSAA 2020 counselling registration from October 6 in online mode at josaa.nic.in . Registration and choice filling for JoSAA counselling 2020 will have to complete by October 15. The seat allotment result of JoSAA counselling 2020 will be announced in six rounds. JoSAA counselling is conducted for admission in B.Tech courses in IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs based on JEE Main and JEE Advanced ranks. JoSAA counselling 2020 will be conducted in centralised, online mode in six rounds. Students who qualify JEE Main will be eligible for admission in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs while students who qualify JEE Advanced will be eligible for admission in IITs. The allotment of seats will be done through JoSAA 2020 counselling on the basis of merit of ranks in JEE Main and Advanced.

First of all congratulations that your have given jee advanced exam.

But if you are thinking that you can take admission in nits on basis of your jee advanced ranks, then sorry you can not get that. In josaa counseling nits, iiits, gftis are given only on basis of jee mains rank and iits on basis of jee advanced ranks.

Because jee advanced score and ranks are only applicable for iits, and jee mains score are only applicable for nits, iiits, and gftis and other institutions.

So, if you want to take admission in Nits then you can get only on your jee mains rank, or your jee mains sc rank, not with jee advanced sc category rank.
