A deemed university is an institution that has gained the status of a university through receiving recognition from the University Grants Commission (UGC) by the recommendation of Medical Council of India (MCI). Aspirants must know that admission to deemed university is done on the basis of NEET scores and the corresponding rank. Deemed universities do not conduct their separate entrance examination meant for admission to MBBS and BDS courses. MBBS admission 2019 in Deemed university is granted through the central counselling process conducted by Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) as such universities hold an All India Character.
