Hello Aspirant,
Yes, medical PG students do get paid.
During the postgraduate study, it may vary from INR 15k per month in south India to INR 50k in Bombay to around INR 70k at academies in Delhi, AIIMS, JIPMER, and PGI. The stipend given by internships might vary anywhere from INR 7k to INR 15k or more at different universities. It is diverse from establishment to establishment, as well as from state to state. Stipend in central government universities is high if correlated to state government, they are almost given money comparable scale to their levels in other divisions. Colleges like UCMS, LHMC, VMMC, and RML - almost INR 80k
State governments:
New Delhi - MAMC - INR 85k for the initial year, and nearly INR 90k for the last year.
U.P - relies upon the university but the stipend is almost INR 50k.
Tamil Nadu - INR 37.5k, INR 39.5k, and INR 40.5k respectively.
Rajasthan - INR 37k almost.
Karnataka: INR 40k – 45k
Kerala - almost INR 40k.
I hope it helps. Thank you.
