Hello Manisha!

You will not face any difficulties while interacting with professors during lectures or praticals, as they generally will use english as a medium of instruction. But you may face difficulties while interacting with patients during clinical rotations as hindi is not their first language and it is not a guarantee that every patient may oblige you to explain his/her problem in english. In some cases, you may not face much problem as many people in South India are well verse in English. But problems may arise in some cases too. You can attempt to learn the language(like how to converse in a basic level and some basic words and sentences) of the state you are studying in by the help of your friends. If you are studying in Bangalore, then it is not much of a problem as some people speak hindi as well as english there. Otherwise, you cannot do much about this problem but just learn to adjust and adapt with the situation. Everything has its pros and cons. So, make your decision wisely.

All the best.
