Do NTA provide bonus marks to everyone irrespective of question type and irrespective of it being attended or not attended?

No, nta doesn't gives bonus marks to all the students. Bonus marks are given when a particular question was incorrect in the examination or any of the options were not right, the students who would have attended these questions would get bonus marks equal to the marks that the question carried. If a student hasn't attempted the question, the he/she will not get any bonus marks.

See no bonus marks are given by NTA for JEE-Main until and unless there is any wrong question and if the question is wrong then also there are two cases that in integer type questions you have to do only 5 and suppose if you did other 5 then you are not going to get bonus marks for that wrong question because there were choices and as there is no negative marking for Integer type question so the candidates who have attempted it, they will get the bonus marks instead of 0 marks . But if the question is of objective type then if you leave question un attempted then the bonus marks will be awarded to you for that particular wrong question. Exam pattern for JEE-Main 2021 for Paper 1 and Paper 2 is described below :-

Paper 1 :-

> In JEE-Main 2021, paper 1 there will be total 90 question out of which you have to attempt only 75 (25 from each section) and there will be two sections for each subject, Section-A will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs)(20 compulsory questions) and Section-B will contain Questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value (10 numerical based questions out of which only 5 are compulsory to be attempted).

> In Section B, candidates have to attempt any five questions out of 10. There will be no negative marking for Section B.

> All question will be of 4 marks and in MCQs there will be negative marking of (-1) on incorrect attempt.

Paper 2 :-

In JEE-Main 2021, paper 2 there will be total 82 question out of which you have to attempt only 77 questions for 100 marks (20 questions from Mathematics section will be of MCQs and 5 questions will have answers to be filled as a numerical value out of 10. There will be no negative marking for numerical value answers) . Second part will be for Aptitude section which will consists of 50 compulsory questions for 200 marks and in Part third there will be two questions for Drawing test comprises of 100 marks. So in total paper will be of 400 marks.

> To qualify for JEE Mains, there is no minimum aggregate percentage criteria but yes if you want to take admission into NITs, IIITs or CFTIs then you should score a minimum aggregate of 75% in your class 12th if you belongs to General/Unreserved category and 65% if you belongs to any of the reserved category.
