No,not at all the marks of class 12 of any student doesn't matter in NDA ,not only in NDA but mostly in many competitive exams ,your marks of class 12 th doesn't matter.I have seen many students who qualify this exam even there marks in class 12 were not so good.So you can apply without any fear of marks .

Their is nothing such in the eligibility criteria. As far as you have scored 70% above,you are in safe zone,but……

If you have got less than that be ready to face the interviewing officer.He will dig you deeper and deeper to know why you scored so low.Because low scores show your lack of interest in studies that implies you lack knowledge and also that you are not hardworking.

But if you genuinely had a problem like bad health or someone deceased in your family,you were more involved in sports during exams,you can convince the IO,and no problem is there.

As far as you can convince him you are through,but don't lie,he will catch you.

My suggestion will be to be confident,and convince the IO by providing the genuine reason,and tell him what are you doing to improve it.

Marks are not a reason for your selection/rejection.If you are willing to join forces,and ready to improve your weaknesses,no one can stop you from being a fauji!
