Do pgdm courses offered by goa institute of management,TAPMI,IMT Ghaziabad,We school,are equivalent to mba degree or is it inferior to mba degree how is it differ from mba.

Hi,
Yes, PGDM courses are equivalent to MBA. The only difference between these is that mba exams are conducted by affiliated University and PGDM Istitutions are authorized by AICTE to conduct the exams.
In simple words, MBA is like an older version for masters in Management and PGDM is the latest version. It would be better to go for PGDM as it not only sounds better but also is much more industry relevant and practical for jobs.
