Dear aspirant,

According to your question, many states accept jee mains score but there are also many states who conduct their own state level entrance to take admission.

The state level entrances are wbjee, comedk etc. Some colleges conduct their own entrance seperately.

Private colleges in wbjee also take admission through jee mains but the reserved seats through jee mains is about 10%.

Hi.

Every State college has its own preference of exams, depending on the university they are affiliated under.

Some state colleges accept JEE Mains, while some take part in State Counselling. You can get such information under "Admissions" tab on the college website or you can check the whole list (of colleges taking part in JEE) on THIS WEBSITE.

Good Luck
