NO. Once you get to the venue for your group discussion and Personal Interview, you will be going to face both of them irrespective of how you perform in them. However, if you perform very bad in your personal interview, you might end up in the first 10 minutes, on the other hand a good interview might go on for 20-30 minutes or maybe more in some cases.

After that you will be assessed on your performance in GD and PI. GD is of 10-15 points and PI is of 40-50 points. If you score well in both of them you'll convert the call and get the invitation to do IIMs MBA course, otherwise you don't.

To be very honest it totally depends upon the company for which you are appearing. It depends upon how they are conducting the exam sometime they take personal interview group discussion and aptitude test simultaneously and after that they decide which students they want to take in which students they want to send for the for a panel interview in some companies after every round students are being eliminated and only the deserving once are send fir further rounds .
