do we count best of four in bsc botany ? or best of 3 (PCB) ? can biotechnology be counted instead of biology ? (for du admission general category female)

Hi,
The final merit for selection in B.Sc Botany at DU is made on the basis of best of 3 subjects.
The eligibility criteria for admission to B.Sc biology course in DU is -
"55% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry (Practical & Theory together) and 50% or more marks in one compulsory language i.e. English."
Therefore according to eligibility criteria the four subjects which are required are -
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology/Biotechnology/biochemistry
- English
Among the above four subjects merit will be prepared on the basis of three subject PCB.
instead of biology you can use Biotechnology or biochemistry in best three choices.
