Do we have to carry Covid-19 report to CAT exam centre?
Dear Aspirant,
We have to first acknowledge the fact that CAT this year is being held under unforeseen circumstances. As per the official brochures, there is no need for a Covid test report to appear for CAT 2020. However, there are a few things that need to be kept in mind while getting ready for the exam.
- The usual pen(s), admit card and other essentials need to be packed
- A glove, mask and a personal hand sanitizer in a transparent bottle
- Kindly ensure that you do not risk any health hazard, as there is a declaration form to be signed stating you’re asymptomatic and in case you display any symptoms like cough or fever, you might have to go through the last minute hassle of writing in a separate space
- Ensure that you wear comfortable clothes of proper fit, because in some centres, you might be asked to remove your belt (if any)
- Keep in mind that entry is staggered and the gates close 15 minutes before the exam
- Usually, the seating arrangement is displayed outside the centre. However, it might be different this time to prevent crowding.
- Please ensure that you have a bag with a lock or any safety measure because most centres might not have a deposit box of sorts for phones and/or wallets and other valuables
All things said, it is all about what takes place before the CAT that is different. Even the timing of the exam might be different. But what remains the same is that, all things said and done, clear your mind off every other external factor, and give your best shot in the provided 120 minutes. For all you know, it might just change your life! Cheers and all the best
