Do we need to choose biology as a subject in class 12 for choosing B.Tech ni Biomedical Instrumentation?

During the course of study in Biomedical Instrumentation, one would have to go through the concepts of human anatomy and physiology, pathology and microbiology. It is not necessary for a student to choose biology as a major subject and get admission in the course, but it becomes a point of advantage for those who have already gone through the concepts by choosing biology. However, for some colleges such as Watumull Institute of Electronics Engineering and Computer Technology, Mumbai, biology should be one of the major subjects in class 12.
