Hey
Joint Admission Test (JAM) is an annual examination held for various PG courses offered by twenty IITs and IISc. It is a single process and you need not apply separately for each college.
After the IIT JAM result is declared, the candidates will have to fill an admission form  on the basis of  which IIT JAM 2020 counselling will be done.
Candidates have to fill the admission form as per their preferences and choices according to which they will be offered seats during JAM counselling 2020.
IIT Kanpur will release three admission lists as part of the IIT JAM 2020 counselling procedure.
After the release of the admission lists, the candidates will be given admission according to their preferences.

Hope this helps you.
Good luck.
