Do we need to submit the original documents during AIIMS MBBS counselling?

The details in aiims website states that for counseling one has to report with the following documents in original form :

Admit Card

Call Letter issued by AIIMS, New Delhi

Proof of Date of Birth

Certificate/Mark sheet from the Board from which the candidate passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination

Migration certificate from the University/Board last attended

Community certificate (if applicable)

Current passport size photograph (front pose) 6 copies

One set of self attested copies of all the certificates.



I don't think they will keep the original ones though but who knows so you should be prepared.

Once the seat is accepted, candidates need to appear at the allotted AIIMS institute with the relevant documents for verification and completion of admission process. Candidates are advised to take the set of photocopies and original ones along with the Demand Draft.
