The Pot of Gold is considered as the satiric hilarious comedy.

>> In this play, only the happy ending of two lovers in the marraige does not make it comedy but also the presence of plenty of fun and humour makes it more hilarious.

>> Euclio is considered as the principle comedy character in this play.

>> Comical situations also occur in the play from the dialogue, when there is a gap between the dialogues and the intention of the character and the subsequent action.
